Wilfrid Laurier University
Bricker Street Residence — Waterloo, Ontario
Student Residence

Architectural design commenced in the fall of 1989 in preparation for occupancy September 1, 1991.  The project was set in motion by joint Provincial and private funding of $11 million inclusive of all fees, funishings, equipment and site acquisition.

Design work progressed rapidly for the original site located off-campus on Regina Street.  As a consequence of potential Official Plan and zoning delays, the project was relocated to Bricker Street.  The final site thus formed the completion of a residences quadrangle on the campus.
