Rowles Office Building — Fergus, Ontario
Office Building
|
An interesting mixed use project, this infill scheme is located on a steeply sloped site on the periphery of the Fergus Commercial Core. At the interface of an older residential area of various existing styles and an evolving personal service area, this project incorporates both professional and residential uses. The project achieves maximum utilization of the properties potential in context with the scale and character of the existing neighbourhood. |

| The Neo-Victorian scheme contains three apartments on the upper floor. They are accessed from the residential St. Patrick Street and are provided with spectacular views towards the Grand River to the south. | The ground floor contains the family dental practice of Dr. Judy Knowles. A walk-out basement on the south provides additional leasehold space and service areas for the building residents. The building was constructed by the owners. | |
